Go :: New Franchise

Once upon time in …, oh sorry..

One day at night, I was sitting bellow tree with pen & dairy..
And thinking about Go+ (Go + add-ons or you can say Go:: 2.0)

One of my co-worker came there looking at me with shy..
After 10min of causal talks.. he started to express something interesting …

He said, his cousin who stays near kumata(small city) wants to start the “GO”, like this..and he needs some advice..

I was surprise to hear that. And also afraid to give suggestion. As my franchise is not completely defined to start the implementation.

After some time, I told my co-worker to call him next Sunday so that we can discuss…I just planned to buy some time so that I can plan …
I stopped Go+ for now, and for next 4 days, I decided to design and package the project/product Go.

I took long walk; when I was back…I had package ready
And next day morning I started write in. make some document and papers ..
Next two days, I fine tune and try to understand possible problems and road blocks..

"Sun"day has come

We started the talk around 11PM, my co-worker was existed about the talk. And I was bit nervous as well. As it was my 1st negotiation. Finally after almost 4 hours of talk,

we had lunch ..

And came to the conclusion that, he will setup the franchise in Kumata with name “Go :: Kumate”
Since he already owns the land , I gave him the setup what I need. And told him that I need atleast 6 month time to setup the machineries and software upgrade which I need to do.

He agreed for that as he needs to build building 1st which will take almost the same time..
With mutual agreement we signed off for the day.

He invited me to visit his place and advice if any changes required to start with. And I agreed visit his place on next Saturday.

Go :: Expansion

Next day I visited the city and discussed with some of the bakery people, about my plan of building the sweet factory. After spending the whole day on getting the data, discussion and analysis..

I found that, market which I am planning work is very small; also I found that no one is ready to buy from me. As they think that they lose the profit. And also there requirement is also limited.

I had two plans initially

1.      Sell to bakery

2.     Sell to choultry

But, after the visit I find difficult to sell the product. And make the profit out of it.

After 3 days of ruthless thinking, I decided to go with this plan.

I will setup the omni on 4 location, basically on Sirsi, sidhapur,yallapur, kumata

(on 5hours rent basis)

Every day omni will go near to the bus stand and however shows the bus ticket for Bangalore they will get the free sweet and chips packet. I wanted to this activity for one month.( limited offers, daily from each location 50 packs)

I also plan to post the ads on local newspaper and on bus stands.

Ok, plan to sell is ready for now, but I need to think how do I setup the production unit. What type of product I should make.

Ok, I decided to plan this way.

1st I will post the ads on local newspaper and circulate the ads.

Basically to convey the message that,

We are planned to setup the sweet factory.

And we are looking for unique taste’s ,  if you think you can make the delicious products , Please walk to our labs  or invite us to your home.

For every invite/visit to our labs you will get the 250/rs

If your product is selected for the production, you will get 25000 one time gift and every year 5000 rs gift.(cash gift)

I personally plan to visit the more than 250 houses and collect the information from the elder’s about the tastes and conservation

Ok, now I know how to start the selling and how to find the greatest product.

So, I need to plan production unit, as my strength is to automate, I think I need to start this one I have the product ready with recipe.

Roughly, I decided to take the help from diploma and ITI students to automate the milk flow, heating process,  tray management, dryer management & packing.

Go :: No Idea, Get Idea

When I was dreaming about “Rise”, I thought it will be new project for me; not just the way I wanted and I found lot interesting. But I decided to put that project on hold as I found more challenges in this project itself.

For last two days we were not able to sell the milk to dairy as there was some technical problem. They stopped processing and I have no choice than wasting it. I have not planned to push to the next dairy as we had some sort of agreement with near dairy.

After some time, discussing with my workers and dears..
I realized that, I need to re-think and add some more stuff to my Go::.

I said to myself GOOOOOO………..

I was out in the night for walk and sat near my house and thinking; what are all the things I can add to it.

I have raw milk; I have enough Gas…where do I use that. Other than workers kitchen..and I have compost as well ..

Don’t confused, it is list of resource I have, I need to expand my dream with all these…

Ok…

Here we Go….

1. I will use 30% of total milk production for New Sweet factory..
Factory..!!?..not sure ..i just want to test how it goes…!!

2. I will use 2 hours of my works for Chips making..!!
Yes.. I have the gas which is generated from my Go: Project. Where do I use it, I can’t sell out. Yes I will start Chips production.

3. I will sell the compost.
Yes, I will make the some important changes to compost management, which will allow me to sell the compost every 3 months.


I think, I may need to add one more person to balance work load. But let me check with them how the go tomorrow morning..

or one more way is to make, most of the things automated..
Which is my passion and my dream too..

Go :: The Lake – Rise

“How much you will give, that much you will get.”

I have this always in mind and my heart always beats for the society. I decided this is the right time to do something for the society, where I leave.
I took almost one week to decide what I have to do for this society. For me water is very much required for all my grass fields or for cow form. So I decided, I will build the lake.
and I said to myself , just a lake..!!!

“The Lake – Rise”

“Rise” is because everything started near the river.
This lake will be Rise of my spirit as well as wellness of the society.
I knew that I can’t spend much on this project, but idea I got is very big. In simple

Rise will have bellow things

1. Rise is big enough to water the 5 village’s agricultural fields.

2. Rise will have Big Park. Which will call the tourists..

3. Rise will have water games.

4. Rise will also be used for fish cultivation.

5. Rise will also have the guest house.

Yes, this is my Rise. I am not sure how I will do it. But I liked the concept of mixing society and business. I mix it because I want money to circulate itself, so that it will be less overhead for me.

In the sense.. money which comes from tourist visit, fish cultivation, flowers, vegetables will flow to making of canals, Tree planting, distributing tree saplings and so on And when you increase the health of the society and greenery, Visitors will increase …

I think, It is Good Rise…

Go :: Turning Point

It's almost 1 year now, with a lot of energy and support was able to manage the GO successfully. You may not believe it is hard to convince the people that I can make it.
And I will make it big.

No one ..no one believed me 100%. Most of them are said, you’re just wasting the time, money and energy.

I was aware that it is my 1st business, and if I fail in this, it will give me tremendous knowledge which I badly needed for my next projects. I am aware that I am spending the money more than anyone imagined for cow form. But I always said to myself..
It will definitely win. And will make the difference on society.

That’s what happened.

I have became the guest for village functions. People listen to me for advice, any school function I have to go and give something (both money and speech).People started thinking about some sort of Hero.

I got some image which I wanted (winner) and it fired the spirit in me.
And ideas are started all around. Everyone knew that I will just not sit with this success and they are all waiting for my next move. If someone meets, his last question will be “what you are going to do next ..?”

I was just taking my time to think,

weather I have to extend this project,

if I have to than whether I have to do it here or I have to start in new place.
Or shall I start new business…
Or shall I wait for next couple of years (some time success is like spike..)
Or shall is start services around Go project.

Mind was running around all ideas and dreams were making me heavy.

I have to tell you how i setup the outfield, it is quite interesting. i will not put the stats but i will explain how the things has been setup. Entire outfield has been closed using the trees and channels. a small lake has been created and all the channels will join to the lake in one or the other way. Before any channel water, in rainy season enters to the lake it will be processed twice(using sand and stone method) and only pure water will enter the lake. Same way all the water form the building roof will also go to lake itself. All this water will be used for irrigation.



We have divided the space in 3 sections

1. COW Play ground

2. For Agriculture

3. For cow food





1. Cow Play Ground
This field will be used whenever we need to clean the in side the GO. This Ground has water tank and food points. every week this ground will be cleaned and rearranged.

2. For Agriculture
This field will be used to grow all vegetables and fruits. but i have not used this field as per my wish, i went to agriculture department in city sirsi, i took the guidance from to make this field profitable and to have more output.

i explained the my project. and also what i am expecting form the this field.
1. I need the products which can give more output and the profit in less time
2. I need the guidance to grow all of them
3. I want to implement multi level cropping
4. I want to grow the food for cow

after listening to all my concerns they told they will send one person every week to help me to start and get the proper out which i was expecting. we started all this when our GO was one 8 month and all other activities are inline. Due to the GoSW and using Machines and systems workers got some time, and that time we utilized for cultivation. In the same manner i have added one more module to the GoSW which will help the entire cultivation process to the workers.

3. For Cow Food
With the guidance from the department we have done good job in maintaining the Cow Food cycle. Which really helped me to reduce the cost which i have spent till 8 months on importing the green food from outside.

A green lines beside the road are for flower cultivation. This looks like the garden but we are planned to get the money out of this. And this field will be outsourced to other company, which will take care of all the activities and profit will be shared. And any activity they do will be recorded on GoSW.

Blue area is the lake where all the channels from out field and building roof will join. One end of the Go has the compost area and front has got the store and stock dept. and also reception.
GAS plants has been contracted Between the Compost and Cow play ground.

i think that's it, i have covered all the things.

Go - The Project On CoW

I don't know how really it got started, but some time back when i was dreaming about "Mobile Mills", i found this idea and started dreaming on this.

Dream : Dream is to build the big COW form near the Milk dairy. i only thought of building big cow form so that atleast 50+ cows can live. when i started dream, it dragged me all over and now it is so big that i just can't simply invest and it moved to till franchises.

i can't even believe it!
One Franchise : it is not clear and it is an ongoing dream.
A franchise is bundle of bellow things.

Story : Area near milk dairy is called 'Hanumanthy' . There i have bought the land that is big enough for above mentioned setup(One franchise). i started buying cows all over the area and near by market. so now after one month my cow form is filled with 40 cows and 3 full time works.

In the mean while i have started the 2 GAS Plants contraction and will complete with in 15 -30 days. My Compost is ready it has already got month shit!! . I have ordered the machine for taking out the milk form the cow. as off now near by working women's are helping me in morning and in the evening to precess the milk. Everyday i am getting almost 300-315ltrs of milk.

Since it is beginning all my field grass are not grown, so i have bought it from outside and will take one more month to routine process. i call it as "Food Management Cycle".

And in the same i have started the "Cow Life Cycle management", when i was doing on xls i find difficult to do that and it will be very difficult for the works. So i decided to put all inventory and management on software. so i visited the one software development center in 'sirsi' and they agreed to make this for 25000RS. which will easy franchise management.

Completely i call it as "Franchise Management System".

This will help me to find out whether i am on profit or loss.. well as Workers instructions.And also all sort of reports for planing and managing.

The Go system has been connoted to speakers and whenever the routine task triggers it will buzz the alarm in cow form. it will announce the dos and dont's for the works. whole area is cover in CCTV. and setting any where i can find out what is going on.

and in the same way it triggers(goSW) me a mail every day on things done and statistics of the franchise. in the same way all 365 days has been defined in the software. When worker logs in he will get the task list and at the end of the day it i will calculate the things done and to be done list and will add to the task list. if you select any employee you can find out what and all he has done for day/week/month/year. doing all this i am only increasing the efficiency of the system.

And int he franchise management it will check stocks required stocks for every 10days and will trigger the SMS to the respected vendors for purchasing the products and for shipment.

So by completion of 6 month my all activity start and in cycle. GoSW helped me lot to make it simple and efficient. Still am not in profit and will take another 6 months to be in profit. But the bank owners visited my form to see the progress, and they are amazed to see the things done. and now they are ready to give more money than which was given earlier. This was the turning point for me. I now know that i really done some thing. That gave me thumps up for my effort and the work.
