Go :: Kumate



I was very much excited about my new franchise, since it is 1st time I am doing it for others, I wanted to take all possible precautions. I visited every week check the progress and to make sure he will not give up in the time..


It’s been almost 6 month, oh I forgot tell, Go kumate was operational after 5 months of construction. On 6th month we have fully accomplished over goal and even 1 month training..


We had big inaugural celebration…we wanted to make as big as possible. We have conducted presentation, demos, consult for entire day. We were able to attract almost 6000 people from various backgrounds.


I really appreciated my co-worker effort in making this happen. Gave him the 25000 bonus, and told him that I have big plan for him in future.. He was happy for that.


Since we have upgraded the software, now we can monitor unit work, progress, needs & requirements from single window.


I decided to visit on every 3 month and maintain the relationship.

Since we have built the Go kumate near NH17, people started visiting this place very often, we restricted them only on weekends and make some crowd..
Since he owns the land, he also had plan to build big park, which can make peaceful evening for some people…


Also informed him that, you can start the short term training course on cow forming and basic of agree


The Go Kumate made huge news allover and within 3 months of setup..
I have order of 5 new franchises

Go :: New Franchise

Once upon time in …, oh sorry..

One day at night, I was sitting bellow tree with pen & dairy..
And thinking about Go+ (Go + add-ons or you can say Go:: 2.0)

One of my co-worker came there looking at me with shy..
After 10min of causal talks.. he started to express something interesting …

He said, his cousin who stays near kumata(small city) wants to start the “GO”, like this..and he needs some advice..

I was surprise to hear that. And also afraid to give suggestion. As my franchise is not completely defined to start the implementation.

After some time, I told my co-worker to call him next Sunday so that we can discuss…I just planned to buy some time so that I can plan …
I stopped Go+ for now, and for next 4 days, I decided to design and package the project/product Go.

I took long walk; when I was back…I had package ready
And next day morning I started write in. make some document and papers ..
Next two days, I fine tune and try to understand possible problems and road blocks..

"Sun"day has come

We started the talk around 11PM, my co-worker was existed about the talk. And I was bit nervous as well. As it was my 1st negotiation. Finally after almost 4 hours of talk,

we had lunch ..

And came to the conclusion that, he will setup the franchise in Kumata with name
“Go :: Kumate”
Since he already owns the land , I gave him the setup what I need. And told him that I need atleast 6 month time to setup the machineries and software upgrade which I need to do.

He agreed for that as he needs to build building 1st which will take almost the same time..
With mutual agreement we signed off for the day.

He invited me to visit his place and advice if any changes required to start with. And I agreed visit his place on next Saturday.

Go :: Expansion

Next day I visited the city and discussed with some of the bakery people, about my plan of building the sweet factory. After spending the whole day on getting the data, discussion and analysis..

I found that, market which I am planning work is very small; also I found that no one is ready to buy from me. As they think that they lose the profit. And also there requirement is also limited.

I had two plans initially
1.      Sell to bakery
2.     Sell to choultry
But, after the visit I find difficult to sell the product. And make the profit out of it.
After 3 days of ruthless thinking, I decided to go with this plan.
I will setup the omni on 4 location, basically on Sirsi, sidhapur,yallapur, kumata
(on 5hours rent basis)
Every day omni will go near to the bus stand and however shows the bus ticket for Bangalore they will get the free sweet and chips packet. I wanted to this activity for one month.( limited offers, daily from each location 50 packs)
I also plan to post the ads on local newspaper and on bus stands.
Ok, plan to sell is ready for now, but I need to think how do I setup the production unit. What type of product I should make.
Ok, I decided to plan this way.
1st I will post the ads on local newspaper and circulate the ads.
Basically to convey the message that,
We are planned to setup the sweet factory.
And we are looking for unique taste’s ,  if you think you can make the delicious products , Please walk to our labs  or invite us to your home.
For every invite/visit to our labs you will get the 250/rs
If your product is selected for the production, you will get 25000 one time gift and every year 5000 rs gift.(cash gift)
I personally plan to visit the more than 250 houses and collect the information from the elder’s about the tastes and conservation
Ok, now I know how to start the selling and how to find the greatest product.
So, I need to plan production unit, as my strength is to automate, I think I need to start this one I have the product ready with recipe.
Roughly, I decided to take the help from diploma and ITI students to automate the milk flow, heating process,  tray management, dryer management & packing.
